DNA takes Criminals off the Streets!

DNA plays an important role in modern forensic science. Today, DNA fingerprinting has become one of the primary methods of identifying people and solving crimes.

DNA profiling   (also called DNA testing, DNA typing, or genetic fingerprinting) is a technique employed by forensic scientists to assist in the identification of individuals on the basis of their respective DNA profiles. DNA profiles are encrypted sets of numbers that reflect a person's DNA makeup, which can also be used as the person's identifier.

In the case of DNA personal alarm each alarm has it’s own unique DNA code so that it does not require the victim to be used for DNA testing.

The 'Gold Standard'

Every Walk Easy DNA Personal Alarm contains a different and unique DNA code combined with an ultraviolet identifier spray which clings to an attacker’s skin and clothing to provide the Police with a positive DNA link to the crime!

 IMPORTANT

Each DNA Personal Alarm is supplied with a postcard printed with the unique DNA Code of that alarm.  Write your name and address on the card and then return the card to us for registration on our DNA alarm databank (Note: there is no registration fee).  In the event of your using your DNA Personal Alarm against an aggressor, you must inform the police of the attack and tell them that the alarm is supplied by WALK EASY LTD. and contains TRACE TAG DNA.  If during police investigation any ultra violet (UV) deposits are found on a suspects skin or clothing, samples can be checked forensically to identify the unique DNA code that has been added to the UV in the alarm, and then the registered user can be found on the WALK EASY databank to provide positive evidence linking the suspect to the crime.
